Hi!  We are Mark and Ponnila Marinescu.  We met through the University of Rochester School of Medicine and were a classic med school romance.  As we were about to start our family journey, however, Ponnila was diagnosed with primary ovarian insufficiency—meaning she could not make her own eggs.  We tried IVF, egg donation, and surrogacy but were ultimately unsuccessful.  We are now looking at adoption as a way to grow our family.
